FBI Investigates PA Gov. Tom Wolf for Corruption in Pipeline Project

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is under FBI investigation for corruption related to a pipeline project. The allegations center around accusations that his administration forced the State's Department of Environmental Protection to issue permits for the Mariner East pipeline.

The Mariner East Pipeline went into service in December of 2018 and has been plagued with spills, fines, and regulatory shutdowns ever since. To their credit, it seems that Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection was doing the right thing; but if the allegations are true, Gov. Wolf's administration forced the DEP to approve the permit anyway.
