Washington County Appoints Judge Jesse Pettit as Coronavirus Judge

On May 14th, 2020, Judge Katherine Emery appointed Magisterial District Judge Jesse Pettit be designated as the "Cornavirus Judge" for Washington County, PA.

Specifically, the order designated him as the "consolidated issuing authority for all matters related to violations of 35 P.S. 521.20 and 71 P.S. 1409, or any other offense related to the orders of Governor Thomas Wolf and/or the Pennsylvania Department of Health, in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, filed within the 27th Judicial District."
